Effingham, SC – Benjamin William McLaughlin, 16, passed away July 28, 2018.

Funeral services will Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Unity Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Unity Christian Fellowship Church.

Benjamin was born in Florence County, the son of George G.,Jr. and Desiree Bazen McLaughlin. He attended South Florence High School.

Surviving are his parents; two aunts, Jessica Helms, Jamie McLaughlin; a sister,Sierra McLaughlin; maternal grandmother, Tammy Woodson; paternal grandparents, George and Carol McLaughlin, paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Broadbelt; his maternal great-grandparents, Bill Woodson and Minnie Woodson and lots of cousins.
