Benjamin Byrd Cannon, 30, died at his residence on November 19, 2017.

He was born on September 15, 1987 in Darlington, SC. He was a graduate of Garner Senior High School and enjoyed listening to music and skateboarding. Byrd was a Christian young man with a big heart and was a friend to all. He was an avid animal lover who adored his dogs, Caddy and Nina.

Surviving are his mother, Marcia B. Lancaster of Raleigh, NC; father, Ralph B. Cannon and wife Karen of Effingham, SC; brother, John A. White, Jr. and wife Suzan of Garner, NC; special friends, Tom A. Johnson of Raleigh and Shannon Cousins of Archers Lodge, NC.

The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC from 5:00 -7:00 pm on Friday, November 24, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence, SC.
