Barry J. Williams

Florence, SC – Barry Jay Williams, 63, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022 after an illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 5, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. Williams was born in Mullins, SC, the son of the late Joseph O'Neal and Minnie Pearline Roberts Williams.  He was a member of Open Door Independent Baptist Church.  Barry worked for Atlantic Bulk Carriers as a long distance truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Denise Hartfield Williams; two sons, Bryan O'Neal (Fanta) Williams, Dennis Earl (Jessica) Owens, Jr; daughters, Shannon Renee'(Irving) Barbary, Rebecca Denise (Travis) Gerald; brother, Larry O'Neal Williams and his ten grandchildren, Nadia, William, Bryana, Jayden, Tamera, T.J., Tayden, Taleaha, Connor and Caleigh.
