Barbara Kirven Bailey, 83, entered into rest on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Born in Darlington County SC , she was a daughter of the late Robert Horace Kirven and the late Merzelle Thomas Kirven.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a church pianist for over 50 years, playing for multiple churches. She will be missed dearly.

Surviving are her husband, Dallas H. Bailey; sons, Mark H. Bailey, Victor K. Bailey (Rebecca), Timothy D. Bailey (Marcie); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gay (Brent), Kara Windham (Nicholas), Kendall Bailey, Zack Bailey, Haden Bailey, Abbie Bailey, Caleb Bailey, Ashlynn Bailey, Nate Bailey, Bethanie Bailey, Levi Bailey; great-grandchildren, William Gay and Ann Edward Gay; brother, Jerry Kirven; sister, Judy Kirven; sister-in-law, Libby Kirven.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Horace Kirven, Jr., Danny Lewis Kirven, and Mack Kirven.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at Grace Baptist Church. The Rev. John Collins will officiate with burial to follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
