Timmonsville, SC – Bobby "Lee" Nowling, 45, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Florence.  Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Florence.  The family will speak briefly to those attending the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Those serving as Pallbearers will be, Will Nowling, Trestin Collins, Tyler Warren, Joey Matthews, Danny Pappas, and Keith Rogers.

Lee was born in Hendry County, Florida the son of the late Bobby Lee Nowling and Deborah Mancil. He lived most of his life in Florida and served his country in the US Army during Desert Storm.  He married Malissa in August of 1997 and Will was born in 2000. He was an avid Florida State Seminoles fan and loved watching college football. He was a devoted dad to Will in all his sporting activities over the years including coaching many years at Delmae/Savannah Grove Baseball fields. Lee was very involved with The King's Academy athletics and served on the Booster Board for several years. Over the most recent years he had been umpiring high school baseball and looking forward to moving on to the college level. He loved coaching kids with baseball and touched many lives over the years. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and believed in the Lord and his forgiving grace. Hebrews 4:16

Surviving are his wife Malissa Jett Nowling; a son, William Garrett "Will" Nowling.

Memorials may be made to The Kings Academy Varsity Baseball Team/Booster Club or Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1015 S. Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC  29501.
