April Hanna Strickland, 29, closed her eyes in this earthly place and went on to her heavenly home on April 30, 2025.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Palmetto Street Church of God.  Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mrs. Strickland was born in Florence, the daughter of Barry and Sheila Cox Hanna.  She worked at Hope Health as a Patient Support Representative.  April attended Palmetto Street Church of God.  She loved the beach, spending time with her family, traveling, and taking care of her cats.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Strickland; son, Owen Rhett Hanna; daughters, Chloe' Strickland, Layla Strickland; brother, Jeremy Wayne (Rachel) Hanna; mother-in-law, Janice (Terry) Hardee, father-in-law, Dean (Cynda) Strickland, maternal grandmother, Peggy Cox, paternal grandparents, Allen B, Sr and Burnadean Hanna and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
