Florence, SC – Anthony F. "Tony" Johnson, 77,  passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 at First Free Will Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have time of visitation beginning  at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mr. Johnson was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the son of the late Fay and Diana Stanek Johnson.  He served his country in the US NAVY.  Tony retired from Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company as a research scientist.  He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.  His interest outside of his love for family, his church and work was, singing in the church choir, bowling, fast pitch softball, golf and hockey.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Karen Lunsford Johnson; three sons, Travis (Tia) Johnson, Kevin (Ceci) Johnson, Troy (Celeste) Johnson; three brothers, Neil (Esther) Johnson, Todd (Linda) Johnson, Chad (Cherie) Johnson; grandchildren, Jeremy (Lauren), Jessica (Nick), Alanna (Joe) Karissa, Sarah, Bekah, Taylor, Ronnie and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Kolton and Bailey.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Johnson.
