Florence, SC – Annie Lois Meggs Hudson, 101 went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Annie Lois was born in Timmonsville, SC,the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Janie Strickland Meggs. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Annie Lois was active in the Ladies Sunday School and the WMU of the Church.

She was married to the late Edison Hudson.

Surviving are a son, Timothy E. Hudson and his special friend Rochell Porcher;brother, Samuel E. Meggs; sisters, Juanita Coward, Vera M. Campbell; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Randy) Butler, Jason (Ashley) Hudson, Angie (David) Russell; great grandchildren, Jacob and Alex Butler, Dylan and Nora Hudson. She is preceded in death by two brothers, William Meggs, Linwood Meggs; two sisters, Runette Liles and Janie Ella Odom.

The family would like to acknowledge Bethea Baptist Home for their care while Mrs. Hudson was a resident.
