Annie Rose Kirby, 69, passed in the evening of Wednesday August 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving husband and children.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will speak to those attending prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.

Rose as she was known, was born in Orangeburg, SC., the daughter of the late Hoyt Atkinson and the late Sarah Lois Leisure.  For many years she worked in the food industry.  She was a familiar face in different restaurants in the area.  Before her sickness she attended the Light House Ministries.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Larry Russell Kirby; son, Robert Dale Causby; daughter, Melinda (Kevin-"Plug") Jones; sisters, Kathy

(Elliott) Davis, Lisa (J.J.) Jackson, Wanda (Tommy) Wilkie; and her grandchildren, Madison Reynolds, Angelina Reynolds, Patrick Causby, Johnaleigh Causby and three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Ivy Rose, Paisley.
