Obituary

Timmonsville, SC- Annie Dell Windham Jordan, 76, died July 27, 2016. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Layton- Anderson Funeral Home. Annie Dell was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Billy and Mildred Windham. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Annie Dell was a switchboard Operator for the Southern Bell Telephone Company before retiring. Annie Dell was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who delighted in her visits from all her family. She was the true Matriarch of the Windham and Jordan family. She was married to the late Gerald A. Jordan, who passed away in February of 2014. Surviving are five daughters, Karen (Kelly) McLean, Cassatt, SC, Lynn (Iverson) Graham, Timmonsville, Geri Jordan (Bobby Stroud), Florence, Jean (Steve) Ham, Timmonsville, Cindy (Liston) Weatherly; a brother, Donnie (Gloria) Windham; her adopted son, Michael Evans; grandchildren, Eric (Tina) Windham, Patrick (Chelsea) Windham, Alex (Cindy) Weatherly, Dustin (Melissa) Weatherly, Courtney Weatherly, Lee (Nikki) Elmore, Cory Elmore, Rob Elmore, Shannon Smith, April (Mark) Amerson, Nikki Powers, Kayla Godbold, Lauren Godbold; twenty-two (22) great grandchildren and one great, great grand-daughter. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Smith.
