Florence, SC - Margaret Anne Powers, 71, passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Cemetery near Timmonsville.  The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Anne was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Thomas "Tom" and Anna Timmons Powers.  She was a secretary with McLeod Hospital before retiring.  She was a graduate of Timmonsville High School.

Survivors are a brother, Charlie (Linda) Powers; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Shelva Dority.
