Timmonsville, SC- Ann Poston Jordan, 66, passed away Oct. 17, 2017 in a local hospital.

A graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.

Ann was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Margaret B. Poston. She grew up in Pamplico where she was a member of Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church. After marrying and moving to Timmonsville, she attended Salem United Methodist Church. Ann worked at Honda for 20 years on the engineering staff.

Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Lide K. "Buddy" Jordan; daughter, Danielle (George) Wallace,Timmonsville; brother, Henry Poston; granddaughter, Skylar Wallace. She is preceded in death by a daughter, April Marie Jordan, two brothers, Steve Poston and Kent Poston and two nephews, Danny Ray Poston and Odell Poston.
