Garden City, SC.- Annie Lee Curry Blackmon, 83, formerly of Florence County, passed away at the Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton- Anderson. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 before the service.

Mrs. Blackmon was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late William "Buck" and Queen Stone Curry. She was employed with Harris-Teeter as a Baker in the Deli before retiring. Surviving are; her husband of 63 years, Edgar "Ed" Blackmon; two sons, Chip (Brenda) Blackmon, Surfside Beach, Phil Blackmon, Garden City; two daughters, Jamie Blackmon, LeAnn Blackmon both of Garden City; a sister-in-law, Lib Blackmon, Murrells Inlet; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn B. Blackmon.
