Andrea VanSant, 82, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023 in a local Hospice Facility.

Andrea was born in Philadelphia, PA., the daughter of the late Lester Allen and Margaret Boyle VanSant.  She was an Account Manager with the State of Texas before retiring.  While living in Texas, she was active in her parish of Saint Austin through the St. Vincent DePaul Society.  Andrea was a long time avid reader. After re-locating here to South Carolina she was a member of several book clubs and was a member of the League of Women Voters while she was able.  She was also a member of the ACLU.  She was a sweet soul and had a love of animals, especially her cats that she rescued from the streets of Texas.  Andrea was also a member of the Richard the Third Society (based) in the UK.

Surviving are; a sister, Marian (Bruce Wagner; brother, William (Dana) VanSant and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by a sister, Lois Jenkins.

Memorial services will be held in Longhome, PA at a later time.
