Myrtle Beach, SC- King Allen Hewitt, 64 formerly of Timmonsville, passed away on Aug 16, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Allen was born in Florence County, the son of Vernon Hewitt and the late Mary Nell Jeffords Hewitt. He was employed by the Amoco Corp.

Survivors are his father, Vernon Hewitt and Mum Rhea; a son, Eric (Michelle) Hewitt; two brothers, Jeff (Brenda) Hewitt, Richard (Cindy) Hewitt; sister, Mary (Tim) Kemper and his nieces and nephews. Allen is preceded in death by a brother, Derwin Hewitt who passed away Aug. 14, 2018.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later time.
