Florence, SC- Alice Clarke Cooper, 82, died peacefully on Wednesday March 25, 2020.

The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later time.

Ms. Cooper was born in Anderson, SC, the daughter of the late William and Bessie Pigate Clarke.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence.  Before retiring, she  worked as a Case Worker in the Senate Office of Lindsey Graham.

Alice was married to the late Wilbur Cooper.

Surviving are two daughters, Cyndy (Danny) Rivers, Cheryl (Ronnie) McGill; brother, William "Bill" Clarke; sister, Rebecca Applebaugh and her grandchildren, Daniel Rivers, Alexandra McGill and Fiance` Michael Brown, Duncan McGill and Fiance` Samantha Cook.  She is preceded in death by a son James Randall Cooper.
