Florence, SC - "A.J." Audrey James Edge, 91, passed away peacefully in Saturday March 17, 2018 at the McLeod Hospice House.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Florence, SC. The family will have a brief time to speak to those attending following the service.

Mr. Edge was born in Tabor City, NC, the son of the late Joseph Franklin and Rachel Powell Edge. A. J. worked on the family farm before joining the service. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was the owner of a Furniture and Appliance store before retiring. A.J. was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors and the beauty of the beach. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach and was involved in many activities of the church.He enjoyed cooking and the fellowship of his friends.

Surviving are; his wife of thirty-six years, Daphen Yarborough Edge; a son, Ricky James Edge; a daughter, Donna Hamilton; step-children, Melanie Lyons, Michelle Buddin; a brother, Wayne Edge and grandchildren, Billy Prince, Nolan Edge and Katie Miller.
