Florence, SC – Lydia Abigail "Abby" Thompson, 18, was tragically taken away from her family on April 6, 2021. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Reese. She was also a great sister, daughter, aunt and friend. We will greatly miss her fun free-spirited and often funny way of living life.  We will forever miss her and will always remember her humor and joy she brought to our family and friends.

Funeral services were held at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home on Saturday April 10, 2021.  Burial was at Florence Memorial Gardens after the service.

Abby was born in Florence County, the daughter of Danny L. Thompson and Charlene Thompson. Surviving are her daughter, Dani Reese Thompson; brother, Kyle Thompson; sister, Kayce (Calvin) Yarborough, Crystal (Chris) Antwine; mother, Charlene; father, Danny and his wife, Teresa; paternal grandmother, Mary Thompson and six nieces and nephews. Abby is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emery and Agnes Ivey; paternal grandfather, Thadis Thompson, and cousin, Lance Criswell.
