Timmonsville, SC – Willaree Disher Moates, 82, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019.
A Memorial service will be Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Oates Baptist Church.The family will have a time of visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Church. The family will be at the home of Shirley Gibbs, 2168 Chasity Drive, Darlington at other times.
Willaree was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Everett and Celia Stalvey Disher. She worked in customer service and as a cashier with local grocery stores for many years. She was a member of Oates Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, James Moates; a daughter, Amanda Boughknight; three sisters, Shirley Gibbs, Jenny (Wayne) Corbett, Debbie LaGray; brother, Everett (Sylvia) Disher Jr., and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two daughters, JoAnn Brown, Rose Lanier and a brother, Elvin Disher.
