Florence, SC -  Crystal  Ann Whisenhunt Timmons, 89, went  to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday Oct. 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. On Sunday, October 21, 2018, the family will have a time of visitation at Timmonsville Presbyterian Church beginning at 2:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC.

Crystal was born  in Florence County, the daughter of the late David Sawyer and Louise Meekins  Whisenhunt.   Crystal was the wife of the late Wallie Clarence “W.C. “ Timmons. She was a graduate of  McClenaghan  High School and Anderson College.  Crystal was  a member of Timmonsville Presbyterian Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne Allan (Mona) Timmons, Wallie Timmons, III; three  daughters, Harriet (Al) Morris, Joan (Mark) Roberts, Kay (Howard) Elvington; two brothers, David (Charlotte)Whisenhunt, Thomas “Tom” (Glenda) Whisenhunt;  one sister, Stella Timmons; ten grandchildren, Shawn Morris, Robin Morris, Julie Timmons, Daniel Timmons, Rachel Timmons, Christopher Timmons, April Dopps, Elizabeth Timmons, Brittni Elvington and West Elvington and six great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by a son, Glen Stephen Timmons,  grandsons, Stephen James Morris, Aaron Brooks Elvington, granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Timmons , and two  brothers, Harry Whisenhunt  and Fred Whisenhunt.
